Research

Part of INSERM Unit 1232 interesting in epigenetics and cancer located at Institut de Cancérologie de l'Ouest as closely as possible to the patients.

Our lab is interested in understanding how epigenetic and epitranscriptomic malign mechanisms contribute to cancer initiation/progression, and promote resistance to anticancer therapies.

In this context, we aim at

1) developing novel highly selective epidrugs and

2) preventing the pesticides-induced epigenetic reprogramming that promote the tumorigenesis.

We are also interested in detection of circulating epimarks acting as "warning" for a cancer predisposition", "red fire" for stopping anticancer therapies, or acting as "green fire" for guiding the administration of anticancer therapies.
